More and more people are choosing to live, work and invest in France. It is estimated that there are now more than 300,000 British people living in France. The British are not the only ones who have been enticed by the country, there are also more than 30, 000 Americans in France, making it one of the largest expatriate American community than in any other country. A whole host of people of other nationalities have also chosen to leave their country of origin behind and start a new life in France. Surveys of those that have made the move, show that almost no one regrets the move to France, and many in fact only regretted that they had not made the move sooner! So what is so enticing about France? There is of course the famous French gastronomy and wine, and with recent research showing that those who drink a moderate amount of red wine each day are healthier and live longer what better excuse is there to move to a wine loving country !
